On Saturday, when I went out into the garden, a Painted Lady landed on my shoe and visited a while. The Painted Lady butterfly is found in more places on earth than any other butterfly. The only place you can't see one is in Antarctica or Australia.

The Smith-Boeth Monarch Waystation was conceived by Rick and Stephanie as a place where Monarchs and other butterflies could find nectar, shelter, and a place to lay their eggs.
